Coaltail owns the prime estate in Tanga spread out over 8600 acres and is located 6 kms north of Tanga City and extends some 20kms on both sides of the Tanga – Mombasa Road. Tanga is a bustling town and is rapidly changing into urban setup. The key attractions are the Tanga Port, Cement & Sisal industries who have established their base in Tanga. Coaltail has inked re-development ventures for urban development within Tanga city in compliance with Tanga City Master Plan and in accor- dance to new land use plans. Starting with 300 acres, the township development plan comprises of survey and sale of plots owned by Coaltail and the implementation of the project on phases will be in line with the project activity plan.
